Monarch Dermatology offers patients the option to receive text messages (SMS) related to their care.

1. Program Description

You will receive SMS messages related to your care and these messages may include:

Appointment Reminders

Appointment confirmations or scheduling updates

Post-procedure care instructions

Prescription notifications

Billing notifications

Limited clinical communications

Practice announcements

2.Opt-In Consent

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Monarch Dermatology. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving medical treatment.

3. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time. Just text “STOP” to the phone number you receive these messages from. After you send “STOP” you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to rejoin, simply text “START” to the same number. You may also contact our office at (442) 427-2211 if you wish to opt out of receiving text messages.

5. Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Message Frequency & Rates

Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and from you to us. Monarch Dermatology is not responsible for any carrier charges. You will receive at least one message per appointment. Message frequency may vary depending on your appointments, treatment plans and practice updates. For questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.

7.Emergency Communications

Text messaging is not monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Do not use text messaging for urgent or emergency medical concerns.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.

8.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the parent/legal guardian of a minor patient to enroll in mobile messaging services.

9.Changes to Terms

Monarch Dermatology reserves the right to modify these Mobile Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
